Unstable ground conditions close Bransty Tunnel between Corkickle and Whitehaven
Période:Du Jeu. 20 novembre au Jeu. 20 novembre

Informations complémentaires:During pre-planned engineering work at Bransty Tunnel, between Corkickle and Whitehaven, inspections revealed unstable ground conditions which require urgent repair. As a result, the line through the tunnel is closed.
Buses are replacing trains between Corkickle and Whitehaven.
Disruption is expected until further notice.

Service impact
Train services are running between Lancaster / Barrow-in-Furness and Corkickle, and also between Whitehaven and Carlisle.
Buses will replace trains between Corkickle and Whitehaven.
Journey times may be extended by up to 60 minutes whilst travelling by road transport.
Ticket acceptance
If the train you have a ticket for is cancelled, you can travel on any Northern or TransPennine Express service within two hours before or after your cancelled service was due to depart. This is at no extra cost, and does not require you to amend your ticket.

Informations complémentaires:Damage to the overhead electric wires between Dalry and Kilwinning is causing disruption to journeys between Paisley Gilmour Street and Ayr / Ardrossan Harbour / Largs. Trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised to start / terminate at Johnstone.
This is expected until the end of the day.

To assist you with your journey, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on:
Alternative ScotRail services via any reasonable route.
McGills buses for Ayeshire and Inverclyde.
Rail replacement buses shuttling between Johnstone and Kilwinning, calling at all stations.

Informations complémentaires:Damage to the overhead electric wires at Glasgow Central is causing disruption to services to / from this station. As a result of this, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.
Additionally, ScotRail services are also being disrupted between Paisley Gilmour Street and Ayr due to damage to the overhead electric wires.
Major disruption is expected until the end of the day.

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.

You should continue to travel as planned however your journey may be delayed.

You can use your ticket, at no additional cost on:
ScotRail services via any alternative route to your destination.
McGills Buses network.
If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
