Planned industrial action to affect London Underground services from Tuesday 21 to Friday 24 April

Informations complémentaires:We have been made aware that industrial action is planned that will affect London Underground services from Tuesday 21 to Friday 24 April. Industrial action will run from midday each day through to midday the following day, but disruption will continue into the afternoons and evenings of each day. Impact on London Underground services: The strikes will affect the whole London Underground network. TfL expect to be able to run reduced services on most lines. Tuesday 21 and Thursday 23 April: Until mid-morning: a normal service will operate. Late morning: services will decline ahead of strike. After midday: significant disruption on all lines, continuing through the following day. Wednesday 22 and Friday 24 April: Morning: significant disruption on all lines until midday. Afternoon / evening: services recovering, with some disruption likely until the evening. Elizabeth line, Docklands Light Railway, London Overground: Elizabeth line, Docklands Light Railway and London Overground will be running normally on strike days. Industrial action is also planned for May and June - further details will be announced at a later date. You can find out more information about industrial action on the TfL website.

Informations complémentaires:There has been some damage to the overhead electric wires at Manchester Piccadilly. Repair work has been carried out that has allowed most trains to start running normally to and from the station again; however, some platforms still remain unavailable for use by certain trains. Trains may be canceled, revised, or delayed by up to 30 minutes. Significant disruption is still expected for services running to and from this station today until full repairs are completed and all platforms are fully back in use. These repairs are expected to take place later this evening through into the early hours of Sunday morning. Disruption to services is expected to continue until 11:00 AM on Sunday, April 19. Please note that East Midlands Railway is able to run as normal. CrossCountry, TransPennine Express, and Transport for Wales are all able to operate a normal schedule today; however, they are expecting some disruptions to their services later this evening and into tomorrow morning. Advice for Sunday, April 19: Information on how Avanti West Coast will be affected by this ongoing incident will be posted closer to the time. Please check back for further updates. CrossCountry customer advice: Advice for today: CrossCountry is able to run a normal schedule for the majority of the day today. This evening, CrossCountry's 11:17 PM and 11:55 PM services from Stockport to Manchester Piccadilly will not operate. Substitute shuttle buses will operate between these stations in place of these two canceled services. Northern customer advice: Northern's services between Manchester Piccadilly to Hazel Grove / Alderley Edge will not operate today. How does this affect my trip? As no alternatives will be in place, Northern is asking people not to travel between 11:00 PM Saturday evening and 11:00 AM Sunday morning. Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including advance and peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends. TransPennine Express customer advice: TransPennine Express is able to run a normal schedule throughout most of the day today; however, later this evening their services are expected to be impacted by the repair work taking place. Advice for this evening: To help you complete your trip, substitute bus transportation has been requested to run between Manchester Piccadilly and Sheffield via Stockport, in both directions. Please check station information posters for the location of substitute bus pick-up points and please be advised that travel times may be extended by 90 minutes while traveling by bus. You can use your ticket (in both directions) at no extra cost on the following: Metrolink services between Manchester Victoria, Manchester Piccadilly, and Manchester Airport Northern services on the following routes: Between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport Between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Piccadilly Transport for Wales services between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport TransPennine Express or Northern services from Liverpool Lime Street / Manchester Victoria to York, to connect with LNER services to Doncaster. From Doncaster, please board the next available service towards Cleethorpes. TransPennine Express or Northern services from Liverpool Lime Street / Manchester Victoria to Leeds to connect with a Northern or CrossCountry service to Sheffield. LNER and CrossCountry services between Edinburgh and York / Leeds. Northern services between Manchester Victoria and Wigan Wallgate. Then it is a short distance across the street to Wigan North Western, to connect with Avanti West Coast services between Wigan North Western and Preston. Northern services between Manchester Oxford Road and Warrington Central. Then it is a 20-minute distance between Warrington Central and Warrington Bank Quay to connect with Avanti West Coast services between Warrington Bank Quay and Preston. Please allow extra time for your trip and check before you travel. If you need to travel between the main stations in downtown Manchester, there are several alternative options available: Bee Network free bus - this free service runs every 10 minutes, with stops conveniently located on the station approach at both Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria. TransPennine Express train tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on Bee Network Bus services across the Manchester area. Metrolink - regular streetcar/tram services operate between Manchester Victoria and Manchester Piccadilly. Walking - it is approximately a 20-minute walk between the two stations. Transport for Wales customer advice: Advice for today and Sunday, April 19: A normal schedule is expected to operate throughout most of the day on Saturday, April 18. Some late evening services today, Saturday, April 18, will be modified or canceled. You can check for running services on the live map. On the morning of Sunday, April 19, substitute buses will run between Manchester Piccadilly and Wilmslow at the following times: 9:00 AM Wilmslow to Manchester Piccadilly 9:30 AM Manchester Piccadilly to Wilmslow 10:00 AM Wilmslow to Manchester Piccadilly 10:30 AM Manchester Piccadilly to Wilmslow These arrangements are in place on services until 10:50 AM. Great Western Railway has been unable to source a replacement train to operate on the route today, and so, service between these stations has been suspended. This is expected to last until the end of the day. Customer advisory: Limited substitute bus transportation is in place. This will operate as close to the regular schedule as possible. Your ticket will be accepted at no extra cost on Go Cornwall buses on Route 73 between Liskeard station, St Keyne (Community Center on the B3254), Causeland (Duloe Community Shop on the B3254), Sandplace (Train Station), and Looe station.
