Informations complémentaires: The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for wind and rain today, Sunday 26 and for rain on Monday 27 January affecting Wales. Train services may be subject to disruption on all routes. Customers with connecting tickets dated Friday 24 January for the following train operators who have suspended services due to the adverse weather conditions, can travel on Transport for Wales services up to and including Tuesday 28 January at no extra cost: LNER, Lumo, TransPennine Express, Northern, Grand Central, Avanti West Coast.

Informations complémentaires: Storm Éowyn brought very strong winds and rain to most parts of Great Britain, and has caused significant damage to the railway infrastructure at Preston station and on the West Coast Main Line. Due to disruption expected from Storm Éowyn, there are no Avanti West Coast services running north of Preston (to / from Cumbria, Glasgow or Edinburgh) today. Do not attempt to travel on this route. If you're due to travel north of Preston today, Sunday 26 January, your existing ticket can now be used on any Avanti West Coast service via the same route up to and including Tuesday 28 January, at no extra cost.

It is also strongly recommended that customers check their journey before they travel for all other routes across the network. Today, Sunday 26 January, there will be no trains running between Carlisle and Scotland, TransPennine Express are urging customers NOT TO TRAVEL north of Carlisle. Tickets for TransPennine Express journeys including any connections, dated Friday 24 January and Saturday 25 January, will be valid for travel through until Tuesday 28 January inclusive, at no extra cost.
